If Auto Bean Select is deactivated, both coffee bean compartments will be treated as one large coffee bean compartment. The bean compartment is only changed when one of the bean chambers is empty. This only makes sense if the same type of coffee is used in both bean chambers. If different coffee bean types are used, the Auto Bean Select must be activated. The bean compartment can then be changed for each recipe.
The MyCoffee function can also be used to personalise the type of coffee for individual users:
User 1: Coffee with bean compartment 1
User 2: Coffee with bean compartment 2
The left compartment is intended for espresso beans (dark roasted beans), the right compartment for café crème beans (light roasted beans). However, the assignment of the bean compartments to the recipes can also be changed manually or the automatic Bean Select completely deactivated.

Please clean the bean container.

The grinding fineness has been optimally set prior to delivery. We recommend not adjusting the grinding fineness until at least 100 cups of coffee have been dispensed.
To adjust the grinding fineness, open the cover on the right-hand side and prepare any coffee drink. Move the grinding fineness adjustment lever to the front with the grinder running in order to set a finer grinding fineness or to the rear to set a coarser grinding fineness. Please note that the grinding fineness may only be adjusted when the grinder is running, as the grinder may otherwise be damaged. Then, close the cover again.
The drip tray should only ever be emptied when the appliance is switched on. If you empty it while the appliance is switched off, this will not be recognised by the appliance sensor and can lead to error messages. Pull out the drawer while the appliance is switched on and then reinsert it.
