The pre-brewing function ('pre-infusion') briefly moistens the freshly ground coffee grounds before the actual brewing process, before your coffee is brewed with the ideal contact time of water and coffee. This ensures a particularly aromatic coffee taste.

At just 20 cm wide, the Melitta® Solo® & Milk is one of the narrowest fully automatic coffee machines on the market and is guaranteed to fit into any kitchen.
The Solo® & Milk has a milk frothing nozzle that enables the preparation of fine-pored milk froth. With the Pannarello, you can prepare aromatic coffee and milk drinks in just two steps. Simply hold the milk under the milk frothing nozzle, froth the milk and mix it with the freshly brewed coffee according to the recipe. Milk can also be heated on request, ideal for preparing cocoa.
Easy handling & cleaning
Espresso and café crème can be easily selected using the direct brewing buttons. In addition to the coffee strength (three levels) and grind (five levels), the temperature and amount of coffee can also be adjusted to suit your personal taste - even during the brewing process if required.
Regular cleaning is important for the proper functioning, best coffee taste and a long service life of your fully automatic coffee machine. That's why the Solo® & Milk informs you when cleaning or descaling should be carried out. As the brew group can be easily removed, the interior can also be cleaned. We also recommend using a Melitta® Pro Aqua water filter. This not only filters the water before each brewing process to ensure an unadulterated coffee aroma and optimum taste, but also prevents limescale deposits in the water circuit.

For the sake of the environment: our Melitta® automatic coffeemakers have a practical Auto OFF function in addition to a programmable energy-saving mode. This allows you to set the automatic switch-off time for your coffeemaker – for particularly economic usage. Of course, you can alternatively switch the appliance off manually via the 0-Watt switch.
