The pre-brewing function ('pre-infusion') briefly moistens the freshly ground coffee grounds before the actual brewing process, before your coffee is brewed with the ideal contact time of water and coffee. This ensures a particularly aromatic coffee taste.
This automatic coffeemaker has a milk froth system that allows you to also prepare coffee specialities with milk. The practical Auto Cappuccinatore is a guarantee for perfect milk froth. In a second step you can add your espresso and, depending on the sequence and quantity ratio, prepare a cappuccino or latte macchiato. Furthermore, you can also heat milk and water with the Auto Cappuccinatore to prepare hot chocolate or tea in a convenient way.

Simple operation and cleaning
Espresso and café crème can be very simply selected with the direct keys. In addition to the brewing strength (three settings) and the grinding fineness (five settings), you can also adjust the temperature and coffee quantity to your individual taste – if necessary, also during dispensing.
It is important to clean your automatic coffeemaker on a regular basis to ensure it works perfectly, gives you the best coffee flavour and has a long life. For this reason, the Solo® & Perfect Milk informs you when it needs to be cleaned or descaled. Since the brewing unit can be removed easily, you can also clean the interior. Furthermore, we recommend using a Melitta® Pro Aqua water filter. It not only filters the water each time a beverage is dispensed to ensure true coffee flavour and optimum taste, it also prevents limescale deposits in the water circuit.

For the sake of the environment: our Melitta® automatic coffeemakers have a practical Auto OFF function in addition to a programmable energy-saving mode. This allows you to set the automatic switch-off time for your coffeemaker – for particularly economic usage. Of course, you can alternatively switch the appliance off manually via the 0-Watt switch.
