Our brewing process ensures optimal development of the coffee flavour and thus excellent coffee enjoyment. Thanks to the pre-infusion function, the freshly ground coffee powder is dampened briefly before the actual brewing process, i.e. before your coffee is brewed with a perfectly adjusted contact time between the water and coffee.

This fully automatic coffee machine only ever grinds the required amount of beans and uses them for the selected coffee. To preserve the aroma of the coffee beans in the bean container, the lid is extra dark tinted and equipped with a special Aromasafe® seal.

The four coffee classics - espresso, café crème, cappuccino and latte macchiato - can be prepared using the direct brew buttons. Six other coffee recipes - such as lungo, caffè latte or café au lait - can be selected via the menu. Our 'Italian Preparation Process', in which the ingredients are combined according to the original Italian recipe, ensures a particularly authentic taste. In a latte macchiato, for example, the espresso is only added after the milk and milk foam, while the reverse is true for a cappuccino.

This fully automatic coffee machine not only impresses with its aromatic coffee and wide range of functions, but also with its cubic and space-saving design. The “Double Cup” function also makes it easy to prepare two cups of coffee at the same time and, thanks to the height-adjustable spout (135 mm), glasses and large cups can also be conveniently placed underneath.

Selected coffee variations such as espresso, café crème, cappuccino or even latte macchiato can be easily selected and individually adjusted using the direct coffee dispensing buttons - even during dispensing if required. Warm milk, milk foam or hot water can also be drawn directly. The step-by-step instructions on the high-resolution TFT color display ensure simple and intuitive operation.

For the sake of the environment: our Melitta® automatic coffeemakers have a practical Auto OFF function in addition to a programmable energy-saving mode. This allows you to set the automatic switch-off time for your coffeemaker – for particularly economic usage. Of course, you can alternatively switch the appliance off manually via the 0-Watt switch. 

Regular cleaning is important for the proper functioning, best coffee taste and a long service life of your fully automatic coffee machine. The display of your fully automatic coffee machine informs you when cleaning or descaling should be carried out and guides you through the process in easy-to-understand step-by-step instructions. Thanks to the user-friendly removal of the brew group, the interior can also be cleaned easily. We also recommend the use of a Melitta® Pro Aqua water filter. This not only filters the water before every brew, but also prevents limescale deposits in the water circuit - for a long service life of your fully automatic coffee machine and an unadulterated coffee aroma.

The 'Easy Steam Cleaning' function enables the milk-carrying parts to be cleaned quickly and hygienically with hot water and steam after each use. They can also be easily removed for even more intensive cleaning. The enclosed milk container can be stored in the refrigerator and cleaned in the dishwasher.
